EaseMyTrip has named Manmeet Ahluwalia as chief marketing officer, according to a recent stock filing. In this role, Ahluwalia will lead the company’s marketing strategy, focusing on customer engagement, brand growth and innovation across India and key international markets.

Ahluwalia brings more than 20 years of experience in brand building and digital marketing across global travel companies, including Expedia, Thomas Cook, Yatra and the Singapore Tourism Board. His portfolio includes campaigns such as ‘Daddy of Travel’, ‘What a Pleasant Surprise’ and ‘Travel Like a Champion’, the latter developed during Expedia’s global partnership with the UEFA Champions League. His work spans APAC, EMEA and NORAM, integrating performance marketing, content strategy and MarTech to deliver effective, scalable communication.

On his appointment, Ahluwalia said his mandate is to elevate EaseMyTrip’s brand while reinforcing its focus on customer-first innovation and seamless travel experiences. He added that marketing should create meaningful connections and outlined his intention to strengthen the company’s market position and build new avenues for engagement with travellers in India and abroad.

EaseMyTrip expects Ahluwalia’s leadership to support the next phase of brand development by adopting technology-led approaches and enhancing the overall customer experience. His appointment marks a continued emphasis on strategic growth through integrated marketing and stronger brand differentiation.
