Door-to-door delivery of newspapers can resume in Mumbai from 7 June: CM

In his address to the state about 'Mission Begin Again', Uddhav Thackeray gave the green light to delivery of newspapers in residential areas

Chief minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray has stated that door-to-door newspaper delivery in the state can resume from 7 June. Delivery boys will be provided with hand sanitisers and masks from the Government.
 
The decision to stop the deliveries of newspapers was earlier taken to stop the spread of Covid-19 across Maharashtra. The state has been majorly impacted by Covid-19 as it has had more than 65,000 cases. 
 
Print players have been adversely affected too. Several media houses including HT and The Times Group have announced layoffs for staff.
