DMA 2016: OgilvyOne bags Agency of the Year title; HUL takes top client accolade

DMA 2016: OgilvyOne bags Agency of the Year title; HUL takes top client accolade
OgilvyOne bagged the Agency of the Year title at the DMA India Awards hosted in Mumbai on 2 August 2016. 
 
The agency bagged a Diamond for 'Amazon Fashion Kya Pehnu'. It also bagged three Gold, seven Silver and 11 Bronze metals. The Gold wins were for Amazon (Kya Pehnu), Rajasthan Tourism (MySthan campaign) and Dove (Break the rules of beauty). 
 
Ogilvy & Mather won a Bronze, contributing to winning the Network of the Year title.
 
HUL bagged the Client of the Year title, while Britannia Good Day was adjudged Brand of the Year.
 
Mindshare and SapientNitro bagged a Grand Prix each for 'Google maps went beyond giving directions' for PepsiCo and '100 and Running' for Nestle, respectively. Mindshare also won a Gold for the same entry and another for 'When Consumers became Co-Marketers' for the brand. 
 
SapientNitro also won two Gold, two Silver and a Bronze trophy. The Gold wins were for 'Fueled by Love' for British Airways and '100 and Running' for Nestle.
 
ibs bagged a total of 14 metals. The tally included three Gold, four Silver and seven Bronze metals. Two of the Gold wins were for Bharti Airtel (World's Fastest Direct Response Campaign and How Airtel launched 4G Digitally in India). The third Gold was for Bajaj Electricals' DynaPrice campaign.
 
The Social Street bagged three Golds too. The Gold wins were for work on Britannia Industries. The entries that bagged Gold were 'Smile to be surprised', 'Taking the Red Carpet to Dharavi' and 'The slide of smiles'. The agency also won two Silver and one Bronze trophy.
 
Happy Creative Services bagged two Gold and one Silver awards. The Gold wins were for Ola Boat and 'The Big Billion Day' for Flipkart. 
 
Indigo Consulting and Leo Burnett, combined, also bagged two Gold and one Silver trophies. The Gold wins were for 'The Nation's Bike' for Bajaj V. Leo Burnett independently also won a Gold and a Bronze, with Gold going to Memories.hdfclife.com for HDFC Life.
 
PHD India bagged a Gold to go with four Silver and four Bronze metals. The Gold win was for 'Lo Kar Lo Baat' for Active Wheel. 
 
Adfactors PR bagged a Gold and Silver. The Gold win was for the entry 'Tourism by Tourists' for Goa Tourism Development Corporation. 
 
ICICI Bank won a Gold for its entry #GiftALivelihood. The company also won a Silver.
 
Viacom18 Media - MTV bagged a Gold and Silver too. The Gold win was for 'MTV The JunkYard Project'.
 
Madison Media won a Gold and two Bronze metals. The Gold was for 'Say AAA' for Mondelez.
 
DDB Mudra won a Gold for 'Bringing The Backyard to The Shopfront' for Inorbit Malls.
 
FCB Ulka also won a Gold. The metal was for Tata Housing's 'The First ever Social Sell on Facebook'. 
 
Pi Communications was awarded the Small Agency of the Year. The agency bagged a Silver and two Bronze metals. 
 
(Amended at 14.15 hrs to reflect that one of the Golds won by OgilvyOne was for work on Dove, and not Flipkart as reported earlier. The error is regretted.)
