Discovery Networks makes key level changes

Discovery Networks has made changes to its existing management structure. Karamjit Dua (pictured) who is vice president- advertising sales will now be the all India ad sales head while Rajiv Bakshi has been appointed director –marketing and communications. Both Dua and Bakshi will continue to report to Rahul Johri, SVP and general manager, Discovery Networks India.

Discovery Networks makes key level changes

Discovery Networks has made changes to its existing management structure. Karamjit Dua (pictured) who is vice president- advertising sales will now be the all India ad sales head while Rajiv Bakshi has been appointed director –marketing and communications. Both Dua and Bakshi will continue to report to Rahul Johri, SVP and general manager, Discovery Networks India.

Dua's new mandate will be to drive Discovery Networks' growth strategy and lead the national sales team. Dua joined Discovery in 2002 from Zee Telefilms. Bakshi will be responsible for the brand management of Discovery's portfolio of  three networks in India– Discovery Channel, Discovery Travel & Living and Animal Planet - and will develop and implement the networks’ consumer marketing strategies. He will also continue to lead the PR department. Bakshi has been with Discovery since 2004.
