Digitally Inspired Media, an integrated communications agency, has won the mandate for Om System, the legacy imaging brand formerly known as Olympus Cameras. The account was awarded following a multi-agency pitch and supports Om System’s rebranding efforts in India. The initiative aims to reassure customers and distributors that the brand continues to build on its 85-year heritage.
The agency will lead Om System’s national rebranding campaign through a comprehensive communication strategy that spans digital media planning and buying, public relations, and creator collaborations. Its mandate includes developing and implementing a unified brand strategy to strengthen consumer trust, celebrate Om System’s legacy, and introduce its refreshed identity to India’s photography and creative community. By combining storytelling, data-led media, and purpose-driven partnerships, Digitally Inspired seeks to position Om System as a relevant and innovative presence in India’s imaging market.
Vivek Handoo, vice-president and head of APAC, and managing director – Australia and Hong Kong, said the agency’s understanding of the Indian consumer landscape and strong creative approach distinguished it during the pitch process. Handoo acknowledged the leadership of Manish Kishore and Surej Salim in executing the India launch and expressed confidence in the ongoing partnership to advance Om System’s growth strategy.
Kishore, co-founder and chief executive officer, said the collaboration goes beyond a campaign and is about reintroducing an 85-year-old global brand to a new generation of creators. He noted that the campaign integrates storytelling, influencer engagement, digital media, and PR to deliver impact and strengthen Om System’s presence and community in India.
