“Europe has always been a center of innovation and trendsetting when it comes to lifestyle, culture and the arts, fashion, music composition, architectural and interior design,” says Petra Schneider, director of distribution, Deutsche Welle. “Deutsche Welle has a history of being involved in fine arts and culture with the launch of the living channel DW-TV ASIA+, is a strong testimony to our international efforts in bringing this to India. With this new channel, we are offering our audience in India a window to European living via our high-quality programming – with 18 hours in English.”

As a part of their launch strategy, Deutsche Welle is giving DW-TV ASIA+ viewers in India the chance to experience Europe for real. Starting April 1, there will be an on-air contest with a generous cash prize, alongwith the chance to win a trip for two to Berlin.
