Contract ropes in Madhumita Deb as senior creative director in Delhi

Contract India has brought in Madhumita Deb as senior creative director in Delhi. She will report to Ashish Chakravarty, NCD. Deb joins in from Everest Brand Solutions.

The agency also announced that it has brought in Kunal Chakravarty as vice president, account management, at its Mumbai office. Chakravarty moves from BBH India.

Rana Barua, chief operating officer, Contract India, said, "I am excited to have Kunal and Madhumita on board. I wish them both all the very best."

This will be Deb’s second stint at Contract. She has also worked with Pickle Lintas and Leo Burnett in her 17-year career.

On Deb’s appointment, Ashish Chakravarty, NCD, Contract Advertising,  said, “I am very happy to have Madhumita on board. She brings with her a wealth of experience on brands across categories, especially lifestyle and women-oriented brands. I am sure she will prove to be an invaluable resource to the clients she works upon and a welcome addition to the pool of talent in Delhi creative.”

Prior to BBH India, Kunal Chakravarty has worked at Havas Worldwide, Lowe, Rediffusion and Triton, in a career spanning 13 years.
