CloudTV expands content portfolio through Swastik Stories partnership

CloudTV, the homegrown smart TV operating system, has expanded its content line-up by onboarding Swastik Stories, an India-first cultural storytelling and entertainment FAST channel operated by the digital storytelling arm of Swastik Productions. The collaboration gives CloudTV OS users free access to a catalogue of mythological series, reimagined legends and original cultural narratives designed to deepen audience engagement with India’s heritage. With this addition, CloudTV’s FAST library now includes more than 300 free channels across entertainment, news, kids and mythology, supporting the platform’s pan-India reach of over 12 million users.

Swastik Stories brings its focus on reinterpreting Indian heritage for contemporary audiences to the CloudTV ecosystem. The channel offers cinematic storytelling tailored for big-screen viewing and continues to attract a growing digital and offline following across diverse demographics and newer viewer segments.

CloudTV co-founder and COO Abhijeet Rajpurohit said that the platform aims to build a broad, option-rich content library that reflects the varied tastes of its nationwide user base. He added that the partnership brings cultural depth to CloudTV’s offering while advancing its goal of delivering a relevant smart TV experience. Rajpurohit also noted the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its partner ecosystem and shape connected entertainment in India by making accessible content available to households across the country.

Swastik Stories founder and chief storyteller Siddharth Kumar Tewary said the collaboration supports the brand’s commitment to telling Indian stories with authenticity and craft in a way that resonates with today’s viewers. He stated that reaching younger audiences with modern, meaningful interpretations of cultural narratives remains a key objective.

The partnership follows CloudTV’s recent alliance with Prasar Bharati’s WAVES OTT to distribute public service and heritage content on smart TVs. CloudTV has also entered the adtech space through CloudTV Ads, a connected TV advertising platform that offers brands and agencies access to non-intrusive formats such as 3D ads to support programmatic CTV campaigns.
