Lowe, PHD bag three Golds; JWT most awarded agency with eight Lions

Here's the final tally of winning agencies from India (see note below):

Note:

  • Two Media Lions entries for Kan Khajura Teshan that won Golds were entered by PHD India. Lowe and Partners has been credited as the Advertising Agency for both.
  • The Mobile Lions entry that won a Gold and the Branded Content and Entertainment Lions entry that won a Bronze, both for Kan Khajura Teshan, were entered by Lowe and Partners Mumbai. PHD India is credited as the Media Agency for both these entries. 
  • In an e-mailed clarification, organisers said: "All companies credited on an entry, either as entrant, or advertising agency, or media agency, or production company etc. can claim the Lion.”

Ogilvy & Mather also won a Silver Lion at the inaugural Cannes Lions Health competition.
