Cannes Lions 2011: "Planners don't have to fight; they have to be good and useful" 

In what turned out to be a mini-session of 'From The Planner's Table', Martin Weigel, head of planning, W+K Amsterdam, explained how a planner makes a groove for himself at a creative agency like W+K and the insight within the new Heineken 'Open Your World' campaign 

Martin Weigel, head of planning, W+K Amsterdam, is at Cannes Lions 2011 Festival for a session on 'Planning; By People who aren't 'Planners'' on Friday, and in this conversation, he talks about the role planning played in the new Heineken campaign by the agency, among other things. He also has a couple of tips for young planners.
