Cannes Lions 2009: India's performance brings cheers

In terms of numbers, 2009 promises to be the best year for India at Cannes. India has already won a total of 23 metals, with Titanium & Integrated and Films categories winners yet to be announced.  Last year, India won 23 metals.This year, India has won one metal on day two, 15 on day three and seven on day four.  The first Indian winner was Leo Burnett in the Promo Lions category.

In terms of numbers, 2009 promises to be the best year for India at Cannes. India has already won a total of 23 metals, with Titanium & Integrated and Films categories winners yet to be announced.
 
Last year, India won 23 metals.

This year, India has won one metal on day two, 15 on day three and seven on day four.
 
The first Indian winner was Leo Burnett in the Promo Lions category.

The next day saw Indian entries win eight metals in the Media Lions category, one in the Radio Lions category and six in the Outdoor Lions category.

Yesterday saw five wins in the Design Lions and two in the Press Lions.
