Breaking news: Jagran Solutions wins big at the 2009 PMAA Awards

India has won big at the 10th Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia (PMAA), with a tally of 23 awards, which includes one Best by Country Dragon, seven Gold Dragons, eight Silver Dragons and seven Bronze Dragons. Jagran Solutions won the Best by Country Dragon award for Microsoft’s Go- A-Live campaign. It also notched up the highest tally of awards with seven Dragons in total.The organisers of the 2009 Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia say that entry submissions were up 32% this year across categories.

In the Best Sponsorship or Tie-In category, Jagran Solutions has won a Silver Dragon for Pepsico’s Gatorade Pacers 2008.

In the Best Use of Direct Marketing in a promotion category, Solutions Digitas has won a Gold Dragon for Thomson Press’ Digital ‘Champi wala’ campaign. In the same category, Tequila India has won a Silver Dragon for Tata’s The Big Bangle Promotion. Jagran Solutions has won a Bronze Dragon in this category for the Walt Disney Company’s Disney Ratatouille Mailer.

In the category Best Innovative Idea/Concept, Encompass has won a Silver Dragon for Colgate Palmolive’s ‘Colgate MaxFresh- Foonkball’ campaign.

In the Best Digital Communications category, Hungama has won a Gold Dragon for Geetha Arts’ Ghajini- findghajini.com 

In the Best Brand building campaign category, Dentsu Communications has won a Bronze Dragon for Toyota’s ‘Touching a billion lives’ campaign.

In the business to business category, ICICI Bank has won a Gold Dragon  for ICICI Bank Talkies on the move campaign.  In the same category, Jagran Solutions has won a Silver Dragon for Walt Disney Company’s Ratatouille Mailer. The Bronze Dragon in this category has been won by Solutions Digitas for Thomson Press’ Digital ‘Champi wala’ campaign.

In the Best Event /Experiential category, Digital Radio (Mumbai) Broadcasting has won the Gold Dragon for Red FM’s Bajaate Raho awards- No Votes campaign. Encompass has won the Silver Dragon for Colgate Palmolive’s Colgate MaxFresh- Foonkball campaign.

In the category Best activity Generating Brand Loyalty, Mudra Communications has won a Gold Dragon for TVS Motors’ Women on Wheels- TVS Institute campaign. The Silver Dragon in this category has been won by Jagran Solutions for Microsoft’s Go A-Live challenge. The Bronze has been awarded to Solutions Digitas for Aviva Life Insurance’s Aviva Dollar Dreams.

In the category Best Effective Long Term Marketing category, Candid Marketing has won a Silver Dragon for ESPN Star Sports’Learning Ground campaign.  The Silver Dragon in the category has been won by Jagran Solutions for Pepsico’s Gatorade Pacers 2006-2009.

In the Best Dealer/Sales Force Activity category, Solutions Digitas has won a Gold Dragon for Aviva Life Insurance’s Aviva Dollar Dreams. Netscribes India has won the Bronze in this category for IDBI Fortis Life Insurance’s ‘Wealthsurance Made Easy’.

In the category Best Brand Awareness and Trial category, Jagran Solutions has won a Gold Dragon for Microsoft’s Go A-Live challenge.

In the Best Small Budget category, Mudra Communications has won a Silver Dragon for Raymonds’ Iron Man campaign.

In the same category, Tequila India has won Bronze Dragon for Tata’s The Big Bangle Promotion.
