BBDO India is in the process of strengthening its Aviva and Pepsi teams with the appointment of two key personnel: Renilson Joseph and Rohina Katoch.
Joseph, who as the associate vice president will be the head of business for Aviva and Quaker Oats, comes in from Grey Bengaluru.
“Renilson will be heading up the Aviva and Quaker business, both of which demand a Total Work approach,” said Ajai Jhala, CEO, BBDO India. “Renilson has the right experience and drive to help us take those businesses to the next level.”
Renilson will report to Jhala in his new assignment.
The agency has also brought in Rohina Katoch as account director on planning. Katoch joins BBDO India from HUL. “Rohina has terrific credentials in brand management having worked across national and regional assignments at Unilever,” added Jhala.
Katoch will report to Sangeet Pillai, planning director, BBDO India and will work on Aviva as well as the Pepsi account.
Said Katoch on her appointment, “I was looking for a creative challenge without the template vision of a marketer. I am really impressed with what BBDO India has achieved in a span of less than two years of existence and the kind of people they have managed to bring on board.”
