Luke Bradley-Jones, executive vice president and managing director, BBC.com, said, “We know that BBC.com audiences are culturally sophisticated and love to travel. Fuelled by the global expertise and reach of BBC and Lonely Planet writers, BBC.com/travel will connect those readers with the destinations they are eager to learn more about and then experience for themselves, first hand.”

Allan said, “Our audience already loves the smart, sophisticated and well researched stories from the BBC. BBC Travel builds on our news and documentary heritage with outstanding travel journalism and insights from Lonely Planet’s authors to inspire you to leave your desk and have an adventure whatever the destination.”
