BBC partners with Radio Misty

BBC has tied up with Siliguri based Radio Misty 94.3 FM for BBC’s infotainment updates and chat shows on the radio station.The programming will be available to the listeners in North Bengal and Sikkim. The BBC shows that will be a part of the tie-up include BBC Ek Minute, sports and entertainment show; BBC Ek Mulaqat, weekly chat show; BBC Take One which features previews and box office reports of the films releasing in the week and BBC Fun and Games, a weekly round up of sports from around the world.

Nishant Mittal, CEO, Radio Misty 94.3 FM, said, “The BBC programmes will keep the listeners in North Bengal and Sikkim updated about sports and showbiz happenings around the globe and will enable them to enjoy unique chat shows with their favourite celebrities.” Vineeta Dwivedi, business development manager, BBC World Service, added, “Partnership with Radio Misty 94.3 FM means we can now connect with the audience in this region.”
