Bastian Hospitality Group has opened Bastian Riviera, a 1.5-acre destination located along the Morjim backwaters in Goa. The launch signals the group’s transition from a restaurant-led brand to a broader lifestyle and hospitality ecosystem. To introduce the property, the group has released a brand film titled ‘À Beira da Riviera’, meaning ‘by the river’, which sets the creative tone for the destination’s identity and its visual sensibility.
Bastian Riviera has been developed to offer a reinterpreted vision of Goa for the modern traveller. Instead of drawing on familiar coastal themes, the property adopts an international design approach intended to deliver a sense of escape through architecture, food and cultural programming. The space centres on a pyramid-inspired structure that guides the architectural narrative.
Surrounding elements include cabanas on private decks, water-led courtyards, circular sunbeds and an outdoor bar overlooking the backwaters. The design incorporates subtle references from global destinations such as Egypt, Mykonos and Dubai, encouraging the environment to unfold gradually as guests move through the space.

The brand film ‘À Beira da Riviera’ provides an early visual expression of the destination. Rather than functioning as a traditional showcase, it aims to communicate Bastian Riviera’s perspective by capturing the property’s light, atmosphere and textures. The film situates the destination for travellers who seek immersive experiences and prefer to engage deeply with the places they visit.
