DHL Global Forwarding has announced the appointment of Ashutosh Dixit as senior director, marketing and sales, India, with immediate effect. Dixit will report to Samar Nath, CEO, DHL Global Forwarding, India. This is the first time the company has appointed someone for this position.
Prior to this, Dixit was regional director of the company's operations in Bengaluru. He has worked with Tata Steel in a previous assignment.
On the appointment, Nath said, "I am delighted to see Ashutosh Dixit taking over as senior director, marketing and sales, India. His sound expertise in marketing and sales across Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh is commendable. I am convinced he will add further impetus to our sales strategy in India."
