Actimedia PR & Digital wins national communications mandate for IAGES

The Indian Association for Gold Excellence and Standards (IAGES), described as the country’s first industry-led self-regulatory organisation for the gold sector, has appointed Actimedia PR & Digital as its pan-India communications and digital partner. The mandate includes strategic communications, digital outreach and narrative-building for the organisation as it works to establish industry-wide standards.

IAGES aims to strengthen trust and transparency across the gold value chain by developing a compliance framework designed by and for the industry. The framework is supported by best practices that are verified through third-party assessments. The organisation intends to provide a standard code of conduct focused on credibility, authenticity and responsibility, creating a more reliable environment for both retailers and consumers.

Kaushlendra Sinha, ceo, IAGES, said the initiative represents a pivotal moment for the gold sector. He noted that the organisation’s model places accountability within the industry itself, enabling a more structured and credible marketplace. Sinha added that Actimedia’s experience in brand building will support the organisation in shaping this transition.

Actimedia PR & Digital is a boutique lifestyle communications agency with nearly three decades of experience in India and global markets. The firm has worked across high-impact consumer and lifestyle categories and serves as the exclusive Indian representative of the Travel Lifestyle Network (TLN).

Amitabh Saksena, founder and director, Actimedia PR & Digital, said IAGES is at the start of an important journey to streamline and elevate a traditionally fragmented sector. He added that the agency will focus on developing an engaging brand narrative and amplifying the organisation’s mission to consumers and trade communities.

The IAGES accreditation is positioned as a sign of assurance for consumers, signalling that a jeweller has met the organisation’s compliance standards and is committed to transparency across operations.
