Apac Effie 2014: Lowe Lintas bags two Golds, a Silver and a Bronze

Lowe Lintas from India has bagged two Gold, one Silver and one Bronze awards at the Apac Effie 2014 competition, winners of which were announced at a ceremony in Singapore on 3 April.

Both the agency's two Golds were for work on client HUL. While the entry '100 per cent seeded natural' bagged Gold in the Media Innovation category, 'Help a child reach five' for Lifebuoy shone bright in the GoodWorks category.

'Honey Bunny' for Idea Cellular won the agency a Silver in the IT/Telco category. The same entry bagged Bronze in the Media Innovation competition. 

According to organisers, Lowe Lintas Mumbai followed closely behind 'Agency of the Year' Colenso BBDO/Proximity New Zealand on the overall points tally. The agency bagged three Silver and two Brone awards. BBDO Worldwide was named 'Agency Network of the Year', with two Gold, seven Silver and six Bronze awards.

(Apac Effie Agency of the Year and Agency Network of the Year titles are awarded based on points awarded to Gold, Silver, Bronze winners and Finalists. Points are awarded to Lead Agencies (8 for Gold - 6 for Silver - 4 for Bronze - 2 for Finalist) and Contributing agencies (4-3-2-1).)

McCann, Grey bag Silver

India's other Silver in the GoodWorks category went to Grey, for Killer Jeans' Green Fold (Kewal Kiran Clothing).

McCann Erickson bagged a Silver in the Non-alcoholic Beverages category for work on Coca-Cola: 'How Coca-Cola won the battle for Indian teens'.

In all, organisers announced 56 awards – 12 Golds, 26 Silversand 18 Bronzes.
