Alongside his new role, he will continue as the chief marketing officer of Reliance Broadcast Network

Anand Chakravarthy to head Big CBS Networks

Big CBS Networks has announced the appointment of Anand Chakravarthy as business head. Chakravarthy, who has been with Reliance Broadcast Network since its launch, will take on the mandate of the business operations and brand development for the joint venture’s English channel portfolio - Big CBS Prime, Big CBS Love and Big CBS Spark. He will continue with his current role of chief marketing officer, Reliance Broadcast Network.

Speaking on Chakravarthy’s appointment, Tarun Katial, chief executive officer, Reliance Broadcast Network, said, “Anand is one of our finest and most committed senior management associates. As the business takes a new leap with some amazing content, along with the impending digitisation which will catapult these channels into another level, no one is better equipped than Anand to lead this initiative and focus on great content and communication, subscription revenue, and building greater value for advertisers.”

Chakravarthy has over 15 years experience across research, advertising and marketing, and came on board at Reliance Broadcast Network in 2006.
