Amul pays tribute to advertising veteran Anil Kapoor
The Indian advertising community is mourning the loss of veteran Anil (Billy) Kapoor to his battle with cancer on 12 April 2021. Kapoor was 73, and the chairman emeritus at FCB Ulka. Of the many successes in his decades-long career, he was most credited for transforming a troubled Ulka Advertising into a top five agency. He has since been fondly remembered by friends and colleagues.

Amul India, who has had a long-standing relationship with FCB Ulka, paid Kapoor a heartfelt tribute with its signature-style hoarding. The creative shows a suited Amul Girl sitting next to Kapoor in the FCB Ulka office. The copy reads, ‘You will always be part of our Famuly.’

Kapoor is survived by Rita, son Ram, and daughter Aruna.
