Exits, hires, restructuring and work; the agency saw it all in July

Agency Spotlight: Ogilvy & Mather
July has been a busy month in the advertising fraternity in terms of exits and new appointments. The month has witnessed Shiv Sethuraman's 'New Business', Joseph George leaving the MullenLowe group, J. Walter Thompson winning new accounts and more, the developments at Ogilvy & Mather stand out. 
 
The month has seen the departure of Rajiv Rao (NCD, Ogilvy) and Vikram Menon (country head and president, OgilvyOne). 
 
Sonal Dabral has been brought in as CCO and vice-chairman. During the month the agency also announced new roles for its creative leadership team
 
Sumanto Chattopadhyay was appointed chairman and CCO, Soho Square. CCO roles were handed out to Ajay Gahlaut, Sukesh Nayak, Kainaz Karmakar, Harshad Rajadhyaksha, Mahesh Gharat and Azazul Haque. 
 
In terms of work, the agency has been busy too, delivering films for Ceat, Tata Sky and Hamam among others.
