Abhishek Rege and Doris Dey join Endemol India

Endemol India has appointed Abhishek Rege as chief operating officer, television, and Doris Dey as fiction head. Rege will overlook strategic operations for new shows while Dey's mandate includes driving fiction properties and creating concepts for new shows. The duo will be based in Mumbai.

On the appointments, Deepak Dhar, chief executive officer, Endemol India, said, “The last one year has been very exciting for Endemol India, with the new concepts being accepted wholeheartedly and the existing formats progressing to their much awaited seasons. As we move into our next phase of growth, it’s critical to have a structure that supports our ambitions and fuels expansion.Abhishek and Doris come with a vast experience and I am convinced that both the professionals will drive our most ambitious phase.”

Prior to his appointment at Endemol India, Rege was with Viacom 18 Media where he overlooked business operations for the USA. Dey was previously at Balaji Telefilms and has worked on shows like ‘Bade Ache Lagte Hai’, ‘Kya Hua Tera Waada’, ‘Parichay’ and ‘Pavitra Rishta’.
