Process to be completed by 31 March 2014

IRS 2013 numbers to be re-validated
In a meeting today between the RSCI managing committee and MRUC in Mumbai, it was decided that the IRS numbers will be held in abeyance until 31 March 2014. The meeting was called to discuss the way forward for IRS 2013 with all its stakeholders.

A process for re-validation of the study is being developed, which is to be finalised by 24 February 2014. According to an official statement, the re-validation process will be completed by 31 March 2014.

The observations and recommendations arising from this process will be presented to RSCI by early April 2014, according to the press note. Once adopted, the recommendations will be formally incorporated into the future architecture of the IRS.

Subscribers and members have been advised to abstain from using the study findings until the re-validation process is completed.
