Sara Ali Khan sells Flipkart’s Shopsy

Watch the film conceptualised by Tilt Brand Solutions

Flipkart Shopsy has launched a campaign ‘Aaj Shopsy Kiya Kya?’ (did you Shopsy today?), to highlight its various available options in the women consumer segment.

Conceptualised by Tilt Brand Solutions, the film features actor Sara Ali Khan and showcases the brand’s affordability and availability across its range of products.

It begins with a lady at the local tailor’s shop, asking him to fix the hole in her saree. He looks at the tear and promises to make it as good as new. Khan, who plays the tailor’s assistant, catches the saree and tells the lady that she should instead buy something new in the same price range. The lady then tells her that she can make-do with the old outfit, until there’s a sale around the corner. Khan then shows her the Shopsy app and tells her that it’s a sale everyday on it. The tailor glares at Khan, who picks up the measuring tape, suggesting that the customer will have come back to his shop to get the blouse stitched. The tailor is happy and praises Khan's tactic.

Adarsh Menon, senior vice president and head - new businesses, Flipkart, said, “At Shopsy, we are committed to offering a value-based and convenient shopping experience to our consumers by leveraging our deep understanding of their needs. As the campaign title ‘Aaj Shopsy Kiya Kiya?’ suggests, we are looking to develop a habit among consumers to visit Shopsy every day, offering them an opportunity to avail of the exciting deals and offers we have on the platform. A large number of buyers in the country await sale seasons to fulfil their shopping needs. To address this gap, we conceptualised our new campaign that reinforces Shopsy as a one-stop destination for consumers who are looking for a reliable and budget-friendly platform to shop from.”

The campaign will be aired across TV, digital and YouTube, in multiple languages.
