Pampers dads coach Virat Kohli, the newest dad on the block

Watch the film conceptualised by Leo Burnett India here

India’s cricket captain Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma welcomed their baby girl to the world on 11 January 2021. Since then, the couple has seen an outpouring of love and well wishes come their way on social media from all over the world.

Baby and toddler products brand Pampers has unveiled a tongue-in-cheek tactical film welcoming Kohli to the joys of parenthood. Conceptualised by Leo Burnett India, the film – #DadsForVirat – sees Pampers dad coming forth with advice for Kohli on facing the challenges of being a new father.

The film opens to a man addressing Kohli directly. He says that as a cricketer, Kohli may have faced a lot of tricky bowlers in his life, but the real challenge is now. The man tells him not to worry, though, all the dads will help him out. The film then shows a montage of dads hurling advice his way on how to hold this baby, change diapers, bathing his child to burping and putting a baby to sleep. The film aims to show that all the Pampers dad are batting for Virat as he enters this new chapter of his life.
