Line urges youth to say it with its ‘stickers’

Watch the ad film created by Hakuhodo Percept

Line Corporation has released an ad film featuring brand ambassador Katrina Kaif to highlight the ‘stickers’ feature in its messaging service. The ad film created by Hakuhodo Percept went on air on 31 October.

The film opens with Kaif walking into a balcony. She is greeted with a ‘Bonjour’ by a French man in the adjoining balcony. He walks towards her talking in French, a language that Kaif cannot understand. She shrugs her shoulders to communicate the same. They start communicating with each other using stickers on Line messenger instead. The light hearted exchange showcases the various stickers available on the app. The film shows the man appreciating her beauty and serenading her, and ends with him sending her a car sticker, when a red car makes its appearance. He asks her to join him and they take off on a drive while a super reads: ‘Say it with Line Stickers’.

Sabuj Sengupta, ECD, Hakuhodo Percept, said, “We wanted to establish stickers as the new and more expressive way to connect. You might hesitate in putting your feelings in words but with stickers you can say it all.”

An earlier TVC featuring Kaif showcased the free call feature of the app and was released before Diwali.
