Jupiter shines a light on the dark side of instant loans

Watch the film conceptualised by Lights@27

Jupiter has rolled out a film that seeks to shed light on the dark realities of taking instant loans, albeit in a lighter vein.

The film conceptualised by Lights@27 features a henchman as a protagonist who’s hired by one such instant loan firm to recover money they have lent from defaulters.

The film which is a part of the brand’s on-demand salary campaign is a satirical take on loan recovery companies and their recovery agents. It shows how the protagonist had a rosy life recovering money with added, exaggerated interest slapped on it, from defaulters. That is till his smooth run was interrupted by the advent of Jupiter’s app with its ‘on-demand salary’ feature.

Apurv Narang, head, growth amd marketing, Jupiter said, “On-Demand Salary empowers every employee, working with any company, with a no-questions-asked product. Withdrawing your own earned salary eliminates the confusion, stress, and fear that come with seeking instant credit from friends, family, or unreliable credit sources.”

“We saw people turning to instant loan apps for quick access to credit, especially during the month-end. Our aim with this mockumentary is to educate users about the dark realities of taking loans from such apps. Jupiter’s On-Demand Salary empowers every employee, working with any company, with a no-questions-asked product. Withdrawing your own earned salary eliminates the confusion, stress, and fear that come with seeking instant credit from friends, family, or unreliable credit sources."
