Dukes urges parents to offer their time to children

Watch the ad film conceptualised by Orcomm Advertising

Dukes, a player in the biscuit and confectionery market, has rolled out an ad film that has been conceptualised by Orcomm Advertising.

The film looks to address the issue of parents not having enough time to catch up on day-to-day events in their child's life. It shows how a young boy tries to talk to his parents, but they're pre-occupied. After several attempts, the boy turn to his soft toy to narrate a story about how one boy bullies him in school and plans how to combat that. His mother notices that. The film ends with the parents devoting an uninterrupted hour to their child, with their phones in a box labelled 'Rohan's time'. The voice over explains how an hour a day from their parents can give children a lot of joy and urges parents to take that pledge.

The film was published on YouTube on 28 December 2017.
