Cadbury Choclairs Gold shuts complaining mouths with 'double chocolatey blast'

Mondelez India has rolled out a TVC for its Cadbury Choclairs Gold. The film has been conceptualized by L&K Saatchi & Saatchi and features two brothers.

It opens with the elder brother looking to sneak into his house late at night. He's greeted by his younger brother, who looks to complain to his mother by calling out to her. The elder brother shuts him by throwing a Choclair into his mouth. The younger brother then spots scratches on their car. Just as he's about to complain to his father about the same, the elder brother throws another Choclair into his mouth. The film ends with the duo in trouble together as they've thrown a ball into the food. The maid spots it and is all set to complain. The duo look to shut her up by throwing a Choclair.

Amit Shah, associate director – marketing (gum, candy and beverages), Mondelez India, said, “Cadbury Choclairs Gold has been loved by consumers over the years. With the brand proposition of ‘Mooh Bandh Rakhne Ka Double Lagega,’ the whole idea of the campaign is to bring out the richness of the double chocolatey Cadbury Choclairs Gold emphasising on more value at the price point of just two rupees. This versatile mix of emotions makes the commercial engaging, endearing and a pleasure to watch.”

Delna Sethna, CCO, L &K Saatchi & Saatchi said, “Getting a film right is always tough business. Getting it right twice is like discovering light at the end of the tunnel. The relationship between two brothers is so rich, it gives us enough leeway to cut it differently every time we try, Chugli-khor little brother believes he has the upper hand, when in fact older brother had the perfect 'mooh bandh' solution in the palm of his!"
