Asian Paints sees PV Sindhu and Ranbir Kapoor exchange training lessons

Watch the film conceptualised by Ogilvy here

Asian Paints has rolled out a film featuring brand ambassadors PV Sindhu and Ranbir Kapoor for its SmartCare Hydroloc range, an interior waterproofing product.

Conceptualised by Ogilvy, the film shows how Kapoor is training to play a role of badminton player in his next film. When Sindhu asks him on the progress he's made in learning the sport, Kapoor states that he hasn't been able to learn it because he's distracted by her home interior walls which have severe damp patches. When Sindhu tells him that she's not been able to get any easy waterproofing solution, Kapoor informs her about Asian Paints SmartCare Hydroloc. The film ends with the house now repaired and Sindhu asking whether the Asian Paints team can teach Kapoor how to play badminton with the same ease.

Amit Syngle, MD and CEO, Asian Paints, said, “Through intense research and interactions with our customers, we found that waterproofing one’s walls is a big hassle involving breakage as well, one that not everyone may be willing to undertake to fix the problem entirely. To bridge that gap, we created an interior waterproofing specialist product that is user-friendly and supremely effective. Given the revolutionary nature of this champion product, we are extremely happy to announce the association of Ranbir Kapoor and PV Sindhu for this product. We are elated they teamed up to launch our champion interior waterproofing offering – SmartCare Hydroloc.”
