Aircel has launched a new campaign featuring Tamil star Suriya (who has appeared in earlier commercials of the brand). In the ad, Suriya stays in touch with his beau at all times, thanks to the Aircel Pocket Buddies card which offers 'limitless' plans for surfing and texting. The ad has been created by McCann Worldgroup.

Talking about the campaign, Anupam Vasudev, head, marketing (OPCO), Aircel Limited, said, “Youth has always been the primary focus for Aircel. The youth of today is digital savvy who like to stay connected with their friends, family and peer group. Aircel now makes it possible for them through the latest ‘Limitless’ proposition. 'Limitless' is all about having the opportunity to continue engaging with what one desires or loves most."

Prasoon Joshi, president, McCann Worldgroup, South Asia, said, "The brief was to popularise the fact that Aircel adds value to your life by helping you to stay connected. We dramatasised the core benefit by showing how a romance is enhanced if the two people are always together, and hence the line 'Dats all I really wanna do'."

The ad film has been directed by Bollywood director Kunal Kohli, known for his depiction of romance in films like Hum Tum, Teri Meri Kahaani and Fanaa.
