ASCI upholds complaints against 355 ads
 
In August and September 2018, ASCI investigated complaints against 590 advertisements. Among those for 131 advertisements, the advertisers promptly ensured corrective action as soon as the complaints were received. ASCI’s Consumer Complaints Council (CCC) upheld complaints against 355 advertisements from a total of the remaining 459 advertisements evaluated by them. 201 belonged to the education sector, 62 to healthcare, 24 each to food and beverages and personal care, seven violated BARC guidelines and 37 were from the ‘others’ category.
 
Columbus India to handle Peppa Pig and PJ Masks' social mandate
 
Columbus India has bagged the social media mandate for Peppa Pig and PJ Masks, an animated television series for kids produced by Entertainment One. The account was won following a direct pitch and will be handled from the agency’s Delhi office.
 
BBL gets Dream11 as official fantasy game
 
Dream11 and the KFC Big Bash League (BBL), the Australian domestic Twenty20 cricket competition, have entered a partnership which will see the former as the 'official fantasy game partner’. The partnership is for both the men and women's tournaments. 
 
Singer India appoints iCubesWire
 
iCubesWire has bagged the digital mandate of Singer India, a manufacturer and seller of sewing machines and home appliances. The account was won following a multi-agency pitch. 
 
Nestle gets the Koms
 
Boxing champion Mary Kom and her husband Karong Onler Kom have been appointed as brand ambassadors for Nestle Everyday. The duo will endorse the dairy whitener across the country.
 
MS Dhoni to wear Panerai 
 
Panerai, an Italian luxury sports watchmaker, has announced its association with Mahendra Singh Dhoni as brand ambassador for the Indian market.
