Wavemaker bags 19 awards at ABBY Awards 2025

Two GroupM companies, Wavemaker India and Mindshare India win 32 awards at ABBY Awards 2025 held on Day 1 of Goafest 2025.

Wavemaker India, owned by GroupM, emerged as a dominant winner, securing the Media Agency of the Year at the ABBY One Show Awards 2025. The winners of Abby Awards 2025 powered by One Show: Publisher and Media category were announced at Goafest 2025 venue following the sessions of Day 1.

Wavemaker’s overall tally amounted to a total of 19 medals, comprising six gold, eight silver, and four bronze. It also secured the Grand Prix for its innovative use of audio-visual in Dream11’s ‘India’s new local language’ campaign.

Mindshare India, which is also owned by GroupM, had a strong showing with 13 total wins, including four gold and four silver awards. EssenceMediacom secured six awards, including two gold and two silver.

Performing a hat-trick of sorts, ABP Pvt Ltd bagged the Publisher of the Year award for a third year in row. It secured a total of one gold, three silver, and one bronze awards. Bennett Coleman & Co Ltd emerged second with one gold and one silver. Jagran Prakashan stood third with two gold and one silver award each.

Presented by Amazon MX Player, powered by Mediakart, and co-powered by ZEE, the ABBY Awards 2025 honoured creative excellence in the advertising industry. The year 2025 ABBY Awards registered 1,398 entries in the media category.
