Virendra Saini elevated as executive director and head at Triton Mumbai
Triton Communications has announced the elevation of Virendra Saini as executive director and head at its Mumbai office. Saini was EVP at the agency prior.

Ashish Medhekar who held this position previously, has left the organisation.

Commenting on the move, Munawar Syed, director, Triton Communications, said “We have always believed in nurturing homegrown talent and recognising potential leaders. Virendra has been with us for the last 22 years and I have watched him grow in capability and stature. I am confident our Mumbai operations will thrive under the fresh, energetic leadership that Virendra will provide."

Ali Merchant, director, Triton Communications, added, “Virendra is a true Tritonite with a deep understanding of the company’s core strengths. He is an ideal flag-bearer of Triton’s largest operations. His knowledge and ability to effectively partner with our clients in enhancing their brand value and market shares have earned him his stripes. I know Virendra will not spare any efforts to move the needle, and build our Mumbai office into a stronger, more resilient force, not only within our network but in the industry we operate in. With him, it’s not going to be business as usual”.

Saini said, “It is an honour to be entrusted with the mandate for our largest operation. We are a brand that has made many brands famous against well-established competition. Many of them have gone on to become household names.  My agenda is to drive growth by partnering with new brands and working with existing ones that are ambitious to make it to the big league.  We are fortunate to have long-standing and existing relationships with our leading clients. I would like to further consolidate, nurture and strengthen these relationships to help our clients achieve their business and brand objectives”.
