Twitter hires Sonali Malaviya as head of business marketing
Twitter has appointed Sonali Malaviya as country business marketing head for India as part of Twitter’s global business marketing team (GBM).
 
Malaviya joins from from GroupM and will be based in Delhi. She will report to Frederique Covington, international marketing director, Twitter. 
 
Covington said, “India is one of our key growth markets for Twitter in Asia Pacific and we are committed to delivering more value to the local advertising community through real-time marketing solutions. We are excited to have Sonali join the Twitter flock and to further educate and engage with brand advertisers and agencies in India through her vast experience and expertise.”
 
Malaviya said, "I'm thrilled to be joining a supercharged team and contribute my media agency experience to Twitter at this exciting time of digital transformation for brands in India."
 
In past assignments, she has also worked with PHD (Dubai) and Roy Morgan Research (Australia).
