Transfer gossip: Who's going where in the BPL

With the European Football season almost on its way now and the transfer deadline just a couple of weeks away, managers are now looking to make their final additions to their squads to have the right  balance before the start of the season.

This obviously doesn't stand for Roberto Mancini and Manchester City as they're looking to add to their already 'balanced' squad with an outrageous bid for Barcelona's Zlatan Ibrahimovic. If the rumour mill is to be believed, Mancini and his men have offered the Swede a four year contract worth 5,00,000 pounds a week! Although Ibrahimovic has denied all specualation about a move away from Barcelona, a deal of this sorts will be very difficult for him to reject. Read more here.

Meanwhile Barcelona (who are looking to strike the right balance), are still looking for a replacement for their defensive midfielder Yaya Toure (who moved to: You guessed it right - Manchester City). Unsettled and want-away Liverpool midfielder tops their priority list (maybe just below Fabregas). Barcelona have offered Liverpool 15 million pounds and Aliaksandr Hleb in order to get the Argentinian captain to the Nou Camp. Read the entire story here.

If that deal does go ahead, Liverpool will look to use the cash they receive to bring in midfielder, Zoltan Gera from Fulham. They are being rivaled by German Club Werder Bremen who themselves are rumoured to be losing their star midfield Ozil to a top European club. Read more on this here

Phil Jagielka, a player who has been on Arsene Wenger and Arsenal's scouting list has squashed all rumours of him moving to North London by a statement which explains his happiness at current club, Everton. Read this story here.
