TOI continues to top IRS

The Times of India leads the list of the top 10 English dailies according to the data released by The Media Research Users’ Council (MRUC) for the Indian Readership Survey (IRS) 2008 Round 1. TOI’s total readership is 136 lakh. The Hindustan Times is next on the list with a readership of 63 lakh. The Hindu follows with a readership of 56 lakh. The Telegraph and Deccan Chronicle have readership of 30 lakh each. The Economic Times shares the sixth position with The New Indian Express with a readership of 20 lakh.
