TME hires Raghu Venkatraman

The Media Edge (TME) has appointed Raghu Venkatraman as its national strategy head. Based out of Mumbai, Venkatraman (pictured) will report directly to Divya Radhakrishnan, president, TME.

The Media Edge (TME) has appointed Raghu Venkatraman as its national strategy head. Based out of Mumbai, Venkatraman (pictured) will report directly to Divya Radhakrishnan, president, TME.

Speaking about the appointment, Radhakrishnan said, “With his background, Raghu is the ideal lead for the strategic output of TME and its approach to consumer connect with the unique offering of “Market Contact Planning”. We have developed an indigenous tool-deck which not only covers strategic planning but also implementation and productivity tools. Being part of the Rediffusion - Y&R group, TME has the advantage of being the only media agency with in-house capabilities in creative, direct marketing, Out-of-Home, PR and events.”

Prior to this appointment, Venkatraman was with OOH - (Focus Media of China), where he was VP - strategy. With over 16 years of experience, he began his career with O&M where he handled planning on Unilever brands. The other brands he has worked on include Forhans, Bajaj, ICICI and Intel among others. He has also worked with Cricinfo.com.
