The SportLane has appointed Aaron Noronha as partner, as the integrated marketing communications agency looks to expand its digital strategy, media partnerships and platform-first communications capabilities.
Based in Mumbai, the agency said the appointment marks a significant step in its growth strategy as it continues building an integrated communications ecosystem focused on storytelling, audience engagement and business growth. In his new role, Noronha will lead The SportLane’s digital and media vertical, overseeing audience growth strategies, integrated communications, digital innovation and platform-led solutions for brands, athletes, leagues and rights holders.
The SportLane currently offers services across PR, media relations, influencer marketing, social media, brand partnerships, digital storytelling, paid media, SEO and performance-led communications. The agency also operates through a media network spanning more than 12 cities in India and international markets including the UAE, UK, USA, South Africa, Canada and Australia.
The appointment reflects the agency’s increasing focus on building integrated communication capabilities that combine content, media, digital strategy and audience engagement within a single structure. The SportLane said the move aligns with evolving industry requirements as brands seek more connected communication approaches across platforms and audiences.
Aadarsh Dewan, founder and managing partner, The SportLane, said, “At The SportLane, we understand the rapid evolution of the marketing communications industry. We want to be the one-stop shop for brands, athletes and rights holders for 360-degree strategic and impactful communications. As The SportLane continues to evolve, having Aaron as Partner feels like a very natural progression. His understanding of digital ecosystems and audience behaviour adds an entirely new dimension to what we can offer our clients.”
Swapnaneel Parasar, co-founder and partner, The SportLane, added, “One of the biggest strengths of this partnership is the shared context we already have. There’s an existing level of trust, understanding and ambition that you can’t manufacture overnight. Aaron’s experience across digital strategy, media planning and audience growth complements the direction we want to take The SportLane in as we continue building a modern integrated communications agency.”
Speaking on his appointment, Aaron Noronha said, “The opportunity to build something with people you’ve worked closely with and genuinely believe in is always exciting. Having known and collaborated with Aadarsh and Swapnaneel over the years, there’s already a strong understanding of how we think, operate and approach the business. The SportLane already has a strong foundation and clear vision and I am looking forward to contributing towards the next phase of growth. The intersection of sport, culture, content and digital is evolving rapidly and there’s an immense opportunity to create impactful work in this space.”
Noronha brings more than 18 years of experience across digital media strategy, programmatic deployment and social media management. Over the course of his career, he has worked with agencies, global brands and sports properties, leading digital transformation mandates, scaling audience ecosystems and developing content-led growth strategies.
The appointment comes as agencies increasingly focus on integrated communication models that combine digital strategy, performance marketing, content and audience analytics to support evolving client demands. Through the addition of Noronha to its leadership team, The SportLane aims to further strengthen its positioning in the sports, culture and digital communications space.
