TBWA lands Angel Broking business

TBWA Group has bagged the creative duties of Angel Broking, the stock broking and wealth management brokerage house. The account size is estimated to be close to Rs 20 crores. The account was won in a multi-way pitch including agencies like JWT, Lowe, Rediffusion DYR, Ambience Publicis, RK Swamy BBDO and Leo Burnett.Madan Mohan, chief operating officer TBWA (West) said, "The brief is simple – to position the Angel brand as a complete wealth management house; a one-stop shop for all individuals' financial needs."

The account was won in a multi-way pitch including agencies like JWT, Lowe, Rediffusion DYR, Ambience Publicis, RK Swamy BBDO and Leo Burnett.

Strengthening its position in the northern states of U.P, Punjab and Rajasthan as well as the South, along with reinforcing its stronghold in the Western region, Angel Broking plans to roll out over 100 new branches over the coming year and penetrate nearly 100 Tier I and II cities. The company plans to introduce a customized range of innovative financial products soon. 

"We were looking for a partner who could understand us and the changing dynamics of the industry, to give an added impetus to this endeavor. TBWA demonstrated that it had this understanding. TBWA and Angel got together for a "Disruption day" and the results of the workshop are encouraging and interesting.
