Sneh Nihalani wins the Storyboard launch contest

CNBC awaaz has announced the winner of the Storyboard Hindi launch campaign contest. Sneh Nihalani, creative partner-copy, Rediffusion Y&R was adjudged as the winner. She not only won an all expense paid trip to Cannes Lions-International Advertising Festival but also feature in the Special Storyboard episode on the Cannes festival.

CNBC awaaz has announced the winner of the Storyboard Hindi launch campaign contest. Sneh Nihalani, creative partner-copy, Rediffusion Y&R was adjudged as the winner. She not only won an all expense paid trip to Cannes Lions-International Advertising Festival but also feature in the Special Storyboard episode on the Cannes festival.

 
In the contest, contestants were asked to craft a launch campaign for this special edition of Storyboard. The key message of the campaign submitted by Nihalani was ‘Angrezi mast hai toh hindi masti hai’. 
 
The ads played on the witty Hindi translation of the commonly used words and phrases by advertising professionals such as Brainstorm was written as ‘Mastisk choosak aviram bak bak’, dangler as ‘phad phad karta dahi-handi soochak’ and so on. 
 
The entry also included viral videos with English commercials being re-recorded in Hindi to add the witty touch.  Nihalani was assisted by her colleagues Abhishek Dey, creative partner-art, Rediffusion Y&R and Kashif Memon, creative partner-films, Rediffusion Y&R.
 
Sneh Nihalani travelled with the Storyboard team and is presently attending the Cannes Lions.
