Škoda Auto India launches G.O.A.T performance campaign

Škoda Auto India has introduced a new brand campaign centred on performance, motorsport heritage and dynamic driving capabilities across its vehicle portfolio.

Škoda Auto India has launched its latest brand campaign, ‘G.O.A.T – Greatest On A Track’, repositioning the popular acronym ‘Greatest of All Time’ to reflect the company’s performance-led automotive identity. The campaign highlights the brand’s motorsport heritage, driving dynamics and safety credentials while reinforcing its broader differentiation strategy in the Indian market.

The campaign begins with a record-setting activation supervised by the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records. Škoda Auto India achieved the ‘Fastest Multi-Car Relay of a Single Manufacturer on a Circuit’ at the Coimbatore Automotive Sports and Technical Training (CoASTT) track, recording a combined fleet timing of 12:30.97, including pit-lane changeovers.

The timed relay featured five Škoda models driven consecutively in a single uninterrupted session. The participating vehicles included the Kylaq 1.0 AT, Kushaq 1.5 DSG, Slavia 1.5 DSG, Kodiaq Selection L&K and Octavia RS. The activation was designed to demonstrate the performance capabilities, agility, braking and handling dynamics of the brand’s portfolio across segments.

Among the participating models, the Kylaq completed the circuit in 2:31.6, while the Kushaq and Slavia recorded timings of 2:29.7 and 2:27.63 respectively. The Kodiaq Selection L&K completed the lap in 2:26.34, while the Octavia RS registered the fastest lap at 2:10.85 on the 3.8 km CoASTT circuit.

The campaign also draws attention to Škoda Auto’s global legacy, which spans 130 years, including 125 years in motorsport. The communication further highlights over 50 years of the RS, or Rally Sport, badge within the brand’s performance-focused portfolio.

The campaign positions performance and safety as central to the brand experience, extending beyond technical specifications to focus on driving feel and confidence. Škoda Auto India also highlighted that its product portfolio has received five-star safety ratings across various tests conducted in India and international markets.

The broader communication strategy aligns with the company’s expanding product portfolio and network growth in India. Through the ‘G.O.A.T’ platform, Škoda Auto India aims to strengthen its association with motorsport-inspired engineering and dynamic driving experiences across categories ranging from compact SUVs to luxury sedans and 4x4 vehicles.

The campaign additionally reinforces the brand’s long-standing motorsport association dating back to 1901, with the RS performance badge first introduced in 1975 through the Škoda 130 RS.
