Simplilearn hires senior leaders to boost global growth

Simplilearn strengthens its leadership across marketing, business and finance to support expansion and sharpen global brand and growth strategy.

Simplilearn has appointed three senior leaders across marketing, business and finance as part of its strategy to accelerate global expansion and strengthen core growth functions. Harish Rawat joins as senior vice president of marketing, Nikhil Sinha as vice president – business, and Saurabh Jain as finance controller.

The appointments come as demand for digital and AI-led skills continues to grow, prompting the company to scale its operations and brand presence across markets. With over 8 million learners across 150+ countries and more than 1,500 live online classes each month, Simplilearn is aligning its leadership structure to support marketing effectiveness, commercial growth and financial governance.

Rawat’s appointment signals a renewed focus on global brand building and performance-led growth. With over 18 years of experience, he has led marketing functions at high-growth consumer and digital-first companies. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of marketing at Gameskraft, where he drove user acquisition and revenue growth across its multi-gaming portfolio. He has also held leadership roles at Zoomcar, Lenskart, Jabong and Nokia India.

At Simplilearn, Rawat will lead global marketing initiatives, with a mandate spanning brand visibility, performance marketing and learner engagement. His role will be central to positioning the platform in an increasingly competitive upskilling market, where differentiation is driven by outcomes, credibility and reach.

Rawat said, “Simplilearn already has strong credibility in the upskilling space, and the opportunity ahead is significant as more professionals look to build future-ready skills. I am excited to work with the team to strengthen the brand globally and build marketing initiatives that help reach the next generation of learners.”

Sinha’s appointment focuses on scaling commercial operations and refining go-to-market strategies. With experience at startups such as NoBroker and Toppr, he has worked on building sales engines and optimising acquisition funnels. He also founded Whomely. At Simplilearn, Sinha will work on expanding enterprise partnerships and improving learner lifecycle engagement, aligning business growth with evolving market demand.

Sinha said, “The demand for professional upskilling is growing rapidly as industries adapt to new technologies. Simplilearn is in its exciting phase of growth, and I am looking forward to working with the team to expand its reach and deliver greater value to learners and enterprise partners.”

Jain’s appointment strengthens the financial backbone of the organisation as it scales globally. With experience across companies including Kinara Capital, Udaan, Flipkart, Paytm and Gadgets360, he brings expertise in financial planning, compliance and risk management. His role will focus on building systems that support sustainable and scalable growth.

Jain said, “I am a strong believer in the concept that learning should never stop. Education is an industry that always leaves a positive impact on our society. Simplilearn’s global learner base and strong product portfolio will bring new learnings and experiences. I look forward to strengthening the financial processes and discipline that support long-term, sustainable growth.”

Kashyap Dalal said, “The pace at which the world of work is changing with AI has made continuous learning more important than ever before. As Simplilearn continues to double down on its growth across markets, it’s important for us to strengthen leadership in areas that directly impact our scale, brand, business growth, and financial discipline. I’m excited to welcome all three leaders, Harish, Nikhil and Saurabh. They bring deep expertise in their domains. Their perspectives and leadership will be extremely valuable as we build the next phase of Simplilearn’s growth journey.”

These appointments underline Simplilearn’s focus on integrating marketing, business and finance functions to drive a cohesive growth strategy, with brand building and performance marketing playing a key role in its next phase of global expansion.
