Sanjay Behl joins Raymond as CEO, lifestyle

Raymond Limited has announced the appointment of Sanjay Behl as CEO of its lifestyle business (textiles, apparel and retail). He was group head of branding and marketing at Reliance ADA Group until the development.

On the move, Behl said, “I am delighted to join the Raymond team and am inspired to begin my innings in this ever evolving textile industry. Rapid change in consumer aspirations coupled with growing discretionary spend on lifestyle goods poses a tremendous opportunity for the market leading and highly respectable brand portfolio at Raymond, both in ‘ready-to-stitch’ textile fabric and ‘ready-to-wear’ branded apparel segments.”

He has been with the Reliance ADA Group for over eight years, donning several roles including that of CEO of Reliance DTH, and national head for sales and distribution at Reliance Communications.

Having started his career with HUL, he has also worked with Nokia at the Asia-pacific and global levels.
