Sandeep Madan and Ambika Nehru moves out of Rediffusion Y&R

Rediffusion Y&R’s Sandeep Madan and Ambika Nehru have put in their papers at the agency. Both are currently serving their notice periods. KB Rai, vice-president and business head, Rediffusion - Y&R, had also put in his papers from the agency earlier in January.

Madan, executive vice president and branch head – Delhi, Rediffusion Y&R will be serving his notice period till February 18, and then announce his future plans. Confirming his exit from the agency, Madan added, “It has been a wonderful experience for me at the agency, where we witnessed many highs and lows over the past few months. However, it was great working here, as we had added a lot of accounts to the agency kitty.”

When questioned about his future plans, Madan replied that he loves advertising too much to let go off it, and his next destination will definitely be in the same space. With over 15 years of experience in communication management, Madan has worked with agencies such as Publicis India, Enterprise Nexus (now Bates David Enterprise), McCann-Erickson, and Black and White Communications.

Nehru, executive creative director for the LG and Amway businesses, has also moved out of the agency. Starting her work with McCann Erickson, Mumbai Nehru had stints at Quadrant Communications, Ogilvy India and Ambience Publicis.

Rai has 13 years of experience in advertising, having started his career in 1998 at Draftfcb Ulka. Over the years, he has worked with agencies such as Mudra, Publicis India and Rediffusion - Y&R. He joined the agency in February 2008, as associate vice-president on the LG business. In 2010, he was promoted to vice-president and business head, and was made in-charge of one of the three verticals of Rediffusion.
