McCann Delhi has brought in Sambit Mohanty as executive creative director. Mohanty joins the agency from bates, where he was ECD.
Commenting on Mohanty's appointment, Prasoon Joshi, chief executive officer - McCann Worldgroup, said, "I am extremely happy to have Sambit join us at McCann. I have not worked with him earlier but in my interaction with him sensed that he brings in a unique dimension. It’s rare these days to find people with craft. Sambit has honed his craft and is a superb writer. I am positive that the creative prowess of McCann will get further strengthened with Sambit on board."
This is Mohanty's second stint at the agency. In a career spanning twelve years, he also worked with Euro RSCG, Lowe, Publicis, Vyas Giannetti Creative and Leo Burnett.
