Sam Balsara elected chairman of Audit Bureau of Circulation

Sam Balsara, chairman and managing director, Madison World, has been unanimously elected as the chairman of Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) and Deccan Chronicle Holdings' T Venkattram Reddy, publisher member on the council has been elected as deputy chairman of the Bureau for the year 2011-12. 

On his priorities at ABC, Balsara, said, “I will focus on one, improving credibility of the ABC Certificate, and two, convincing media planners on the importance of using circulation data along with the readership data to decide on inclusion of a title in their plans, and the right price to pay for it.”
 
Balsara has been a member of the Bureau's Council of Management since 2002 and was the deputy chairman of the Bureau for the year 2010-2011.
