Pranav Harihar Sharma returns to Rediffusion Y&R
Rediffuson Y&R has announced the appointment of Pranav Harihar Sharma as ECD, North and West. Sharma had left Rediffusion in April 2015 to join Grey.

Dhunji S Wadia, group president, Rediffusion Y&R, said, “Pranav is a one-of-a-kind creative person. He is a man of many skills and a bundle of energy. At Rediffusion we have seasoned professionals from marketing, research, advertising, design and interactive backgrounds coming together to build strong client relationships. Pranav's understanding of the film medium along with his creative acumen will add significantly to our repertoire. I'm happy to welcome him back to our Rediffusion family.”

Rahul Jauhari, CCO, Rediffusion Y&R, added, “Pranav is a multi-faceted, rising star who has done brilliantly well at the Cannes Lions Advertising Festival as well as the Cannes International Film Festival. I’m more than happy to have someone who combines a flair for advertising along with a passion for film-making. Rediffusion has historically been a springboard for people with a passion for more than one thing. As ECD North and West, in addition to handling Mumbai businesses, Pranav will work with Jaideep Mahajan in building our Delhi operations into a creative powerhouse.”

Sharma said, “This is actually dual 'home coming' for me. Apart from coming back to Rediffusion group, where I have worked earlier both in Mumbai and Delhi offices, I am coming back to advertising too after a real tiny break. When Rahul and Dhunji offered me to work for both Mumbai and Delhi offices along with the flexibility to pursue my 'film-direction', it was more than an 'ideal' job for me. The level of comfort I enjoy with Rahul, having worked with him in the past, and the opportunity to use my experience of working at Mumbai and Delhi markets, makes the decision an absolute no-brainer.  I am looking forward to creating some real magic in the second innings.”

In a career spanning 15 years, Sharma has also worked with DDB Mudra, J. Walter Thompson and Linen Lintas.
