Reviews
Adidas has launched a competitive review of its global £377-million media account. Three networks are said to be pitching for the account: Publicis, Omnicom and WPP. WPP’s EssenceMediacom is the incumbent on the account, having initially won it as a MediaCom account in 2018.
Bentley Motors is reviewing its global creative account, inviting agencies to pitch, the car brand has confirmed to Campaign. A bespoke solution called IPG-X, run out of Interpublic Group and now Omnicom, has been servicing the brand since landing the account in 2022.
Wins
IBM has awarded its global £142-million media account to Omnicom following a competitive review. The account's remit spans the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, including Japan. Omnicom beat out Publicis in the final round of pitching. WPP Media, the incumbent, did not defend the account.
Earlier this week, climate advocacy group Clean Creatives published an open letter urging Netflix to include “fossil-free procurement” in its ongoing EMEA media agency review. Campaign had reported in March that Omnicom, WPP, and incumbent Dentsu were in the final stages of contesting for the account.
Campaign recently learnt that the streaming giant is set to appoint Dentsu as its media agency of record. The UK account, worth $191 million, has been held by Dentsu since 2023, being led out of iProspect.
Dentsu has also been appointed as the integrated agency partner for Hell Energy Drink in India following a multi-agency pitch. The account, which will be managed by dentsu’s Mumbai office, builds on existing partnerships with Carat, Dentsu Creative Isobar and Dentsu Creative PR.
WPP Media’s Wavemaker has retained the integrated media mandate for Red Bull India, an account it had held since 2009.
Santoor, the flagship brand of Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting, has appointed Tilt Brand Solutions as its creative agency on record (AOR).
